No, the DOT will not allow you to see a different SAP after you have been seen for the initial evaluation. You must stay with the same SAP until the end.

A DOT SAP Evaluation is done in a face-to-face appointment with a substance abuse professional (SAP). This professional must be a DOT Qualified SAP. When you see a SAP, they will use assessment tools and ask a lot of questions. This will help them determine their recommendations. They can refer you to education, counseling, outpatient, partial day treatment, or inpatient treatment.
